All my fish died, help me find out what went wrong

for the past months all my fish have been doing great, I dose daily with n03p04x, all of a sudden my fish died with their mouths and gills wide open, but my two clownfish are alive at the top of the water breathing fast

 

I had to turn of my skimmer and powerbeads this morning but besides that nothing changed

Have you had your water tested? What are the parameters? If they are gasping for air, maybe lack of oxygen in the tank some how?

NOPOX drives bacterial growth and a bacterial bloom, usually seen as cloudy water, can strip the water of oxygen. Combine this with turning off the skimmer, which helps oxygenate the water, and I think you have the answer. Get that skimmer back on!
