Confuse
I had the same decision to make and I chose the Tide. First, I wanted controllability from the light and I would have had to spend an additional $100 for the Kessil controller. Then another $40 for the gooseneck. Second, spectrum. The Tide has the best spectrum out of all commercial fixtures. No fixture on the market uses high CRI whites that Nano Box uses. All of Dave's LEDs are binned for the highest quality. Third, form factor. The Tide is sexy and compact. It just looks really good and elegant. Fourth, controllability. I opted for the four channel Tide and the Blue Fish Mini is an amazing controller! So much customization and some great features I've really come to like and completely wireless. So that was my choice and I don't regret it one bit. I'm perfectly happy with my Tide. Link to comment

billdeluz
Can't speak for the tide, but I just set up my 160 kessil and I'm still trying to pick up my jaw off the floor Link to comment
ImNew:]
You might want to try looking on reef2reef or reefcentral for a kessil light as they have a higher density of used sales. But Nano-reef is the best place to score on a Nano-box ( because its the best bang for your buck ) Link to comment
