I'm looking at options for upgrade for my ocean free nano 5 it's 96 litre with dimensions 60x40x40cm or 24x16x16inch. I've looked at kessil but read they have an 18x18 spread for full reef set up so maybe one not enough ? Chinese black box 165w ramping and programable , seem okay but no on tank mount really don't want to hang AI prime like the light but again one may not be enough spread Current usa orbit , mixed reviews Really looking for one unit that I can ideally tank mount on legs that will be suitable for this size tank for all coral types that is controllable and has moonlight and sunrise sunset etc Any recommendations or people's experiences with same tank would be much appreciated, I'm in Australia so almost all have to come from online stores so any good sites for your recommendations would be appreciated also Thanks in advance Link to comment
Exodus Posted July 4, 2015 Share Posted July 4, 2015 Your tank is too big for the Nano Lights, Kessil A360W would be more than enough, Hydra TwentySix would Cover your Tank but the 52 would be a better option for SPS. Radion's XR30 Would Also be a good fit too. Link to comment
gjn201 Posted July 4, 2015 Share Posted July 4, 2015 I've got the maxspect nano over my ocean free 64 set to 70%. I think with the 120 degree shade thing it will do. Also don't go by the 96 litre, my 64 only holds 55. Link to comment
Downsy Posted July 4, 2015 Author Share Posted July 4, 2015 Really like the kessil look it's tidy and not obtrusive,gjn201 I think it's 96total but actual tank volume will be less due to rear chambers, looked at max spect but they don't grab me for some reason Link to comment
