Emerald525
Sadly it is not a new addiction! I was out of the hobby for about 2 years and then fell off the wagon so to speak but yes you have me beat with the varieties but I am close to you! Link to comment

Emerald525
The tank looks great! I really like those clowns. How are you liking the Maxspect Razor? When I left the hobby I was ati T5's all the way. It took some getting used to for me. I don't like the shimmer effect from the LEDs and felt like the colors from my t5 were better but since I have tweaked the program a bit and made it more blue I am liking it a lot better! Here is a close up of the clowns. I actually lost one clownfish and replaced it with a blacker ice. This was when I first introduced the new one (Rodrigo blacker ice). I used to have a clown anemone tank and I can usually tell right away if they are going to get along. Link to comment
Emerald525
Over the past 2 weeks I have picked up quite a few zoas. Thanks to some fellow reefers and my LFS. Some of them were given to me as I passed them off when I took down my tanks 2 years ago. I love this community and how we take care of each other! Link to comment

partyboizz01
What is your light schedule, I would like to use the Same settings Cuz of now my zoas seeming like they are stretching for light. Link to comment
Emerald525
Mine were doing that as well until I turned it up. I also like the color more when the B is about twice the A but I'm still tweaking it. Here's what I have right now : Time A B 7:00am - 0% 1% 10:00am - 25% 45% 1:00pm - 35% 55% 4:00pm - 25% 45%. 7:00pm - 10% 25% 10:00pm - 0% 0% Link to comment
Emerald525
Did some work on the tank and got some frags glued down. Already running out of room LOL! I'm used to having a 150 gallon tank! Fortunately some of my friends held on to frags that I gave them and gave me some frags back. I also picked up this sweet plate coral today! Link to comment
Emerald525
Thanks! Sorry about the grainy quality of the pictures. Every now and then the ghost skimmer throws out a bunch of microbubbles. It usually gets better with time! Link to comment

Emerald525
That's alot of nice zs and p's ! Very awesome! Thank you! Fortunately there are a lot of zoa nuts around me and some of them were given to me by my fellow reefers. I was out of the hobby for 2 years and gave many of my frags to a friend and he was kind enough to give me some zoas. I'm pretty much out of room for zoas now and am just going to let them grow in now. I still have some room on the sand bed though! Link to comment
Emerald525
I got my final fish at last week. A gold dwarf moray eel and I love him! His name is Rex. I was watching to my horror the next day as he got really close to the vortech . I had images of dwarf gold moray eel frags and pretty sure none of you would have bought them! and as I rushed to the tank he quickly went through the overflow. Had to pull out the mediabaskets and there he was hanging out... There was no way I was going to be able to net him so as I pondered how the heck I was going to get him out of there, Rex helped me out and just went back into the main tank himself! I happened to have the DIY kit readily available. This is why I sometimes keep things that I don't use right away! And put mesh on the vortech, overflow and made a new cover that does not have the gaps in it like the stock lid. It also looks better than the stock lid because it does not have the white in it. And here is Rex next to the large zoas. In a small tank he is easy to find! Here's a full tank shot. I also added a few LPS Jason fox JackO'lantern , Incredible hulk, and bubblegum monster chalice I also added 2 sps Red planet and Oregon blue tort Link to comment
Emerald525
Here's a few more pictures! The fire shrimp is always front and center. I read somewhere that people prefer cleaner shrimp to fire shrimp because they tend to hang back but Carlos is pretty tame now and eats out of my hand so he's always up front because that's where the food is! I have most of the corals towards the center as there is not much par on the side. I don't have a par meter I just can tell by how the zoas were reaching up towards the center. This would be a better light for a cube. not the longer footprint of the fusion 20. These are from Golden basket but can't remember the name. Love these huge zoas. They don't have a cool designer name but they are very cool. I got them from Mattv. I think he originally got them from me as they look familiar and I got them in a trade from a guy named moto who was a zoa nut and had some really cool ones. Wish he was still around: [/u Link to comment
Emerald525
Finally got a hold of a par meter! By comparison here is my old 150 gallon under ati t5s Here are the measurements that I got today under the LED. This was at the highest intensity of the cycle which is 40%A and 80%B Link to comment
