Clownfishy13
So I want to get a Fluval spec V and I am wondering if there any corals that grow under the LED light? I saw a Fluval spec V at my LFS that I think it had the original LED! Link to comment

Probably not Is the budget is an issue, get a PAR38 bulb- that'll grow almost anything you can throw at it and is cheap. Link to comment

It should be more than enough for the spec V Link to comment

shawnd08
I have the Coral Compulsion Par30 bulb over a 3.7gal which has worked great so far. Pair it with a goose neck or adjustible desk lamp and you can position the like however you need. Link to comment
Gooburz
You can't go wrong with the Coral Compulsion PAR bulbs, I had 2 PAR38's over my 20L and I grew anything with them. Once I get home I'll be using one of those bulbs for my 7.5 gallon cube. It is a great light for nano tanks, plus it can screw into any regular house hold light socket so you can get their gooseneck or get creative and build your own light fixture. Link to comment
