GoingPostal
Love the filefish-hope it works out for you. I'm seeing a few aips pop up in my new nps setup and know I need to attack back hard and quick, before they get everywhere. Such a pest. Quote Link to comment
uwharrie
would a flex hose work? Or was there a reason you chose PVC? Quote Link to comment
BJV
Not sure on the tubing, I just used what BFS sent with the reactor. Barry Quote Link to comment

jazzman7838
Nice work! They will grow fast if fed well and should be about 10-20 polyp colonies within a year, and should start spawning around that time too. Quote Link to comment

BJV
Good Morning All, I need a little advice. The power supply on my nanobox retro went out this morning. My question is: I have a small problem with GHA and now with no lights for a couple of days, I am thinking I might as well to a three day black out. Anyone have any pointer on doing a black out? By the way Dave is sending me a new power supply. Barry 1 Quote Link to comment
RayWhisperer
My only suggestion is keep the ph up. An overnight drop may not compare to a 3 day drop. I'd run an air pump with actual outside air, not room air. 2 Quote Link to comment

They are the Atlantic version, as it were, of Sun Polyps. Unfortunately, as stoney corals they are not legal to collect, however if you order maricultured Gulf live rock they are a frequent hitchhiker. Here's a picture of some that I have, showing how they fluoresce: I have one of these! Thanks to you I now know exactly what it is. I only discovered it recently, poking out from beneath a rock (came from the gulf). It must have been hiding somewhere for months! How it survived is a mystery to me. It's my understand that these guys need to be fed, and often. I've got some researching to do. Woo! Quote Link to comment
