Kessil 360WE where do I start?

TOURING

Recommended Posts

Decided to just start up a 20x24x9" shallow tank. Do I do 50/50 white/blue and turn the other knob till it initially turns on?

Use to have a 150w 20k over it. Thanks guys

I do like 60/40 color and I would do barely on since it's so bright and get up to probably a little under halfway in a couple weeks

"Where do I start?"

With the instructions or looking on the Internet for tanks with the Kessil.

What percent is it when it turns on? I know the knob moves a bit for actually turning on

Sorry I just wanted to see what other owners started at in regards to acclimation.

I would guess 10% but for that small of a tank that's a powerful light so start low, I had a spectral controller but sold it too bad I don't still have it

Yea I need one now... Do you recommend me getting one? There going for preety cheap now.

Definitely get one, I got an apex but the controller is well worth the investment!

Do you think a 360 can replace a 150w mh for sps?

I don't think leds Will ever be as great as MH or T5 because of shadowing but the 360 is pretty damn close and I've seen sps dominant tanks take off with these lights! There is one on YouTube that's like 300 gallons and has like 6 of these lights with tons of sps!

I would start at full power 2 inches above the water, when your corals all turn white then you know it is working :P. I don't own one but they are awesome lights, post some pics!!!
