ninjamyst Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 I will be getting a frag of Jack o Lantern Leptoseris tonight. It has already encrusted most of the frag plug. Do I have to put it on a rock for it to grow and spread or will it plate / skeleton on its own if I leave it on the frag plug on the sandbed? When I research just Lepto, people say moderate light and moderate flow, but for JF Jack o Lantern, people say low light and low flow. That's why I want to leave mine on the sand bed but most of the rocks in my tank gets lots of light. Link to comment
Mirya Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 I have my Jack o'Lantern on the sandbed (where it has been extremely happy). It has just reached the lip of the frag plug. It looks like it is going to shoot out over the sandbed next, rather than wrap around to the bottom of the plug. Link to comment
