So I won an Advanced Acrylic 10g AIO at Reefapalooza NYC, how to proceed?!

I won the 14x14x12 Cube AIO during the raffle, gonna be a fun side tank to my Nuvo Fusion 30L

 

Wanted to pick up a Nuvo 10g for the hallway, looks like there's no need anymore

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, it is a nice AIO, but I know Acrylic is different from glass. It's easier to scratch right? Also it's pretty thick. Looks like half an inch thickness.

 

It appears that I need a pump, the circular thing to connect at the hole.

 

I would also like to add a media rack, but I don't know which one would fit? I would like to get an InTank media basket if one can fit. I have a small Minimax Reactor that would fit perfect here, and I guess I could get a PicoSkim if needed.

 

So basically: What pump do I need? Which media rack could fit? What return pump nozzle thing do I need to buy? And how should I treat this different from glass?

Looks nice and congrats. I don't know that Stevie makes a rack specifically for this tank. Considering it isn't mass produced I'd be surprised. Send him the dimensions though he might have one that fits.

 

Acrylic does scratch easier.

 

MJ600 or MJ900 for a pump should fit fine.
