zanysreef
Just curious i have a fluval spec v, with current marine led 18" fixture and good water parameters.. (please lets not get into the exacts of my parameters, just know its a thriving tank) however all of my zoas eventually stretch out there skirts shortly after being introduced to my tank.. is this something to be concerned about or is this a good sign? Thanks for the input! Happy reefing Link to comment
seabass
Welcome to nano-reef.com. Just curious i have a fluval spec v, with current marine led 18" fixture and good water parameters. So exactly what do you consider good water parameters? When zoanthids reach toward the light, they are usually wanting more light. Link to comment

Thanks for the input! Happy reefing How far away from the light are the zoas and what do you have your light at? I have a 20 long with the same fixture and I'm running it at 100% blue and white. Currently have LPS and even a monti cap in the tank. Zoas are taking over part of one rock at about 6-8" from the fixture. Link to comment
