Media Reactor Help

The BRS mini canister would be more than enough. And yes, just toss in GFO and carbon together and make sure that it is NOT tumbling and you're good to go.

[Edit]

On a side note, I'm from VB and have family still there that I visit regularly. Now that animal jungle closed, any recommendations for LFS?

Either fish safari or atlantic sea farms. I heard a new store is opening up on holland road. Should I use foam to keep it from tumbling

Yup. When you get the reactor, it should come with foam inserts. Check out the BRS YouTube page and they have reviews on all of their reactors and show you how to fill them. Oh, and thanks for the information. I think I've been to fish safari but I'll have to check out the other one.

Are you in VA beach right now

Nope. I'm in Chapel Hill for the summer. If you have any questions about the reactor, I would watch the following video. It is a little long but it goes over the different reactors BRS offers and how to fill/use them.

If you happen to get a dual reactor, do not try to run it on a single MJ1200. I don't think these pumps are quite strong enough.

Plus one I had to set up a manifold off my return to run my dual reactor!

Wow, idk why but I should do this. Only thing is that my return pump isn't that great anyways. Next upgrade on my tank is going to be either a new return pump or new lights. Probably going to be the return pump unless I find a great deal on a new light.
