piano15 Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 As I am beginning to set up my tank, more and more questions keep popping into my head! Do you vacuum your substrate? My last tank had crushed coral so it was essential to vacuum but I will be using sand? How long after the cycle is finished before you start the weekly water changes? Link to comment
seabass Posted June 20, 2015 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Yes, you can vacuum a shallow sand bed. I have typically just vacuumed the detritus off the top and let the cleanup crew do the rest. Link to comment
