kakorb
if you could have a perfect size in an aio what dimensions would it be. how big of compartment in the back. I recently had to buy another one because mine started leaking and I didn't know where to start. I settled for an 18x20x12 because of time and money wishing I would have designed and had one built to my specs so what would your perfect aio be. Link to comment
HarryPotter
I would want a rear compartment between 3.5 and 4 inches. The JBJ RL-45 has this size and it's awesome- can fit plenty of skimmers, media reactors, heaters, refugium, etc. Link to comment
kakorb
My first aio was the nuvo 16. It did lack in the back for room. Felt crowded. Tank I ordered has more room Just never seem to have enough for a good fuge. And equipment Link to comment
Mike Savage
For me it depends where the AIO tank is located. I had a RSM 34 gallon in the corner between the sofa and love seat and it was perfect. I had a Cadlights 8 on my desk right next to my monitor and it was nearly perfect there until the Nuvo10 came out and now it IS perfect in the same spot. Link to comment
ManGups
Fluval M60 - 24 gallon tank I have a tunze 9001 1st chamber, chaeto and probes in 2nd, In tank media basked, ATO sensor, IM desktop reactor and return in the last. Link to comment
righttirefire
I personally like typical sized tanks. My 10 gallon qt might become my only aio. Thinking peninsula style. I like being able use the chamber for top off. It's your tank. If it's your first tank you'll struggle with what you want. It it's you 100th tank you'll still want to modify something. My suggestion is make a list of what you want. Next research! Than look at other tank builds. And RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH! Build your tank 1000 ways on paper, in your mind, digitally. And find something you'll be able modify as your curiosity takes grip Link to comment

Bodasifa
loving my fusion 30. tons of room in rear, and beautifully built tank Link to comment
WhiteWulfe
For me it would probably be a 3' wide Fusion 40 - similar to the Fusion 30 in regards to room in the back as well as width, but with the depth and height the Fusion 40 has. That would be rather perfect. Link to comment
