mozer67
I have some type of marine aquatic plant that has sprouted out of the LR and is taking over my tank. I've tried trimming it back but it grows very quickly covering a lot of my rock and threatening my corals. My hermits don't seem to be interested in it and was wondering if any other critters will clean it out for me or will I have to remove rock and scrub it off? Thanks for any advice! http://i1357.photobucket.com/albums/q746/mozer1967/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsgxoysfal.jpg Trouble uploading pics from my phone! Link to comment
Mr. Microscope
It's hard to tell in that pic. Can you get one closer? Does it have little grape looking things on it? Might be calurpa. I think the first step is to get a positive ID. Maybe start here: https://www.reefcleaners.org/nuisance-algae-id-guide Once you get an ID, you might be able to pin down a better way to treat it. to Nano-Reef! Link to comment

The leaves do appear to be grape like and it has runners or vines that branch out. Thanks for your help Mr. Microscope ! Link to comment
