Motolife
Hello all, Thought I would share my only tank that I have set up right now, just an old half gallon gold fish bowl I had laying around. Gona keep it simple and see what I can make out of it. Everything in there came out of my 29g bio cube that I had to break down but I couldn't come to through everything out so I tossed some stuff in this little bowl. For the first couple weeks it was just sitting in a window using the sun as its only light, but I just finished a LED build that I want to use on my next tank and even though it ridiculous overkill thought I would put it over top and see how it goes. It's been up for a little over a month and I've just been doing 95-100% water changes weekly and zapping any algae outbreaks with hydrogen peroxide, hoping that keeping this up will keep everything in good order. Would like to put some more frags in soon but I want to figure out how to keep it a bit more stable before I put anything else in it. Equipment -1/2 gallon goldfish bowl -air stone -100w heater (not sure what kind, it's not Ajustible though) -DIY 24 led (8RB,2DP,2C,10CW,2NW) Livestock -1 red mangrove -small mushroom -Xenia hitch hiker -spaghetti worms and bristle worms -tube worm hitch hikers My mix All blues All whites Light fixture Dimmer and driver box Lid I riged up Thanks for looking Link to comment
Motolife
Little update added 2 tiny cerith snails to try and keep it a bit more tidy. Also ordered a reptile heater and a stc-1000 temp controller, going to try and make an under the tank heater to make more space in the bowl. I also ordered a few different types of small fountain pumps, want to try and use one of them for flow instead of the airstone as it causes a lot of salt creep and doesn't help with the evap. Other than that everything seems to be happy, my mushroom which was a brownish red when it was under the 150w MH on my bio cube has started to turn greenish blue under the LEDs, and the hitchhiker which I thought was Xenia has turned green and I'm not to sure if it is anymore. Anyways here's some pics Link to comment

Motolife
L That light makes the bowl look even smaller than it is haha Haha ya it's extreme overkill got it at 17" from the surface, was ment to go on my next build but lack of funds lead me to this so though I would just use it on here till I upgrade the tank Link to comment
