tanked_kiwi
Hi everyone, About a week and a half ago my zoas were looking good, like this Now they look like this I've tried to get a better pic but might have to wait until they're closed up tonight. There are white blotches on the polyps when they're closed. You can kind of see them on the closed polyps in the pic if you zoom in. I only noticed these a week ago when they weren't open like normal. Is this Zoa Pox? The only thing thats change is my alk level. I have slowly brought this up over the last 2 weeks to help with my low ph problem, but this 1 colony of zoas are the only things in the tank affected. I'm aware that Furan 2 is the preferred treatment, but I cant dip them since all my rock is glued together. I'd have to dip all my liverock. Is there any other treatment worth trying? tanked_kiwi
This might be a more revealing photo At this stage, I'm just gonna scrape that whole colony off. Kinda sucks, trying to grow out frags not lose them Link to comment
