Tangaroa Goby Diet

I picked up a roughly 2 inch tangaroa goby today and as with all my new members he was a little overwhelmed at his new surroundings but he'll get used to it. ANYWAY... i have brine shrimp cubes and read that they are very carnivorous so will those do or should i get something new for him?

When I had one he was content with new life spectrum pellets. I would def reccomend something besides just brine shrimp cubes just for nutrition's sake. Most other meaty foods will do.

I have fed mine Rods and LRS frozen food and flake food (Omega One Marine with garlic), they've eaten all of it. I have two, one is more skittish but the other is out often and tries to eat anything floating by that looks like food. I don't think you need to worry about special feeding but I think variety is always better. They are great fish.

Thankyou for your inputs! he didn't go after anything today (pellets or shrimp) but normally fish don't eat in my tank the first full day but ill keep my eyes on him

Mine come out when I feed then sit there and eat stuff as it floats by. I only have small gobies and a bicolor blenny though so they all pretty much do that, unlike bigger fish that will actively go get the food.
