T5/Led Users needed

whats up fellow reefers so i finally decided to retro ocean revive t2427 light with 2 bulb 24" t5 kit

 

My idea was to run only channel 1 which is all the blues on the fixture and use the t5 for the

 

supplementation for the led. so what would be the best 2 bulb option for this route

 

or if this isnt a good option please share

 

using ocean revive t2427

and brs 24''retro

Purple+ to bring out the color.

2 purple plus or 1 purple plus and 1 coral plus

Or 2 coral+ and run all the LEDs at a lower I tensity to bring par back down to normal

 

You could also run two blue+ if you like your tank on the blue side.

What I like with the HYBRIDS is this...

 

• Blast blues for first few hours
• Turn all T5's on for a midday that looks good to you ( ~3-4 hours )
• Blast the blues until night time

Hope this helps. I really love the look of Blue +, Aquablue Special. Purple + and a Blue + as well. But that is up to you!

have no experience with t5 never used them but I know the popular ones are the coral plus

 

I love the blue look forsure because I have a ton of zoas but I'm looking to use the t5 for growth and to hit the better spectrum the leda can't hit
