pnyf
I'm setting up a 10 gallon tank and need some help picking lights. I'd like to use LEDs and am thinking of using a PAR style bulb but then I start getting lost. PAR 30 or PAR 38? 90 degree optics or 120? Will one bulb be enough or do I need two? Is there some other light I should be looking at? I've been looking at coralcompulsion, reef radience and reef breeders. I'd like to keep the lights under about $200 total after shipping and mounting and all that. Finally I'd like to keep zoas and some mushrooms and some LPS as well as some macro algae. Thanks for the help. The forum has really been a great source of info for me. Peter Link to comment
HarryPotter
For a 10g, I would HIGHLY recommend the AI prime. Its Iphone controlled, and is more than enough for a 10g Link to comment

nanoreeFan
Coral compulsion par bulbs for me. Good service and fast shipping. You can also change out the optics. They sell the lens. Tell them the spread you want and they will help you out. Link to comment
Reefkid88
If you're worried about coverage, why not look into Reef Radiance's Coral Pro light for $180. And spend the rest of your budget on a hanging kit. It already comes with eyelets for hook style hanging kits. Link to comment
