Hey fellow reefers from around the world and Happy Memorial Day!

So I am ordering a SpectraPure® Refurbished 90-GPD 4-Stage RO/DI System and my wife is going to insall it for me and use it so 1 I finally have one and 2 so she doesn't have to keep making trips to the LFS.

Questions I have:

Does it come with the splitter to hook up to the cold water line on your Washing Machine or do you have to pick one up?

Does it come with install instructions? She is quite handy around the house but install instructions would be a must, if not can someone provide a link on here for me please? Mainly to see what hoses hook up to where and what order to install the filters in.

Internet is really horrible out at sea so any help you guys can give me would greatly be appreicated!!!

Just looked it up. They are very easy to install and it comes with directions. In the event it doesnt- marinedepot has the owners manual listed with the product. She could always download there.

I comes with a "garden hose" adapter for tap water hook up. I am 80% sure this will hook up to the faucets in the house. If it doesn't... marine depot has the faucet adapter for about $13

Make sure she remembers to only use cold water.

Edit- owners manual here http://www.marinedepot.com/SpectraPure_MaxCap_RO_DI_System_w_Manual_Flush_90_to_180_Gallons_Per_Day_RO_DI_Water_Filter_Systems-SpectraPure-SP12291-FIRORDNH-vi.html

She can pick up a Y valve garden hose connector at almost any local home improvement store.

Then she can use the garden hose connector (that's included) to hook up the unit.

And thank you for your service.

Thanks guys! I was able to order a Y-splitter off of amazon and it's being sent to the house so now the wife should be good to go! And thank you Seabass!
