Blenny tank mate compatability

I am planning to purchase a watchman pistol pair and I currently have a fire goby and starry blenny. I know my blenny will attack anything similar to itself so do you think a yellow watchman is too similar or am I safe?

What is the tank size?

I would add the shrimp and goby at lights out to give them a chance to make a burrow and you should be fine. As long as the watchman isnt swimming around in open water and hanging out on the Starry's rocks he probably wont even notice him.

I had a lawnmower and a YWG in my 75g. They exchanged words every now and then, but they mainly stayed to their own favorite spots. I think having a pistol shrimp helped, because the goby stayed in his cave about 90% of the time. The trouble was only when the blenny got too close to the goby/shrimp territory. But that was in a 4-foot long tank, so there's likely to be more fighting in a smaller space. I probably wouldn't recommend this combo in anything less than a 40 or so. Just my opinion, though.
