Nano-box = Great customer service.

I just wanted to share my experience with Dave and Nano-Box. I bought a Nano-Box Duo here used on the Classified ads here on Nano-Reef.com. It had a bad cable to the storm controller when I bought (stated in the ad). When I got it the fan also did not work. The finish had a little obvious wear on it but otherwise it was a solid unit with lime LEDs for a good price so I am happy.

 

I contacted Dave at Nano-Box to see if he could refurbish and customized the unit for me. I contacted him on Facebook. He replied quickly. I am lucky because I live about 30 minutes away from Dave. Dave believe I am his closest nano-box owner even thought I bought the Duo from Florida :).

 

After talking with Dave my wish list was

1. new cable for the storm controller,

2. a new fan,

2. the gooseneck changed from the 9 inch length to the 13 inch length

3. the gooseneck base changed to accommodate a rimmed tank.

4. and repaint the unit and add custom color.

5. everything installed and tested

 

We agreed on a VERY REASONABLE price and I drove up and dropped off the unit. I picked it up 5 days later. I am very happy Dave did a great job. I just wanted to let everybody know the level of customer service you get when you get a Nano-Box. Dave is a great guy and is truly one of us. Here are some before and after pictures.

Beautiful. I have to agree Dave goes out of his way for his customers. I have bugged and annoyed the crap out of the poor guy, and yet he was nice enough to provide me all the information i wanted before purchasing my light!. Proud owner of a DOU and tide which is on its way to dave to get refurbished!
