newo11 Posted May 21, 2015 Share Posted May 21, 2015 Hi all: I have a Black Nanobox Tide with a brand new storm controller for sale. Black housing, black background, with the tall gooseneck. I think even the cord is black. It was supposed to be used on a Pico tank that was on our nightstand, so the mrs. said "no" to any nice colors.... Essentially, this is brand new to like-new (the fixture itself is like new, as it did run for about a month or two; the controller is brand new). The story, as I don't post on nano-reef often, so you all don't really know me - I ran a IM 4gallon Pico for the past three years. I finally broke it down and sold it last week, so I have no disillusions that I am going to use this light, lol! I ran the pico with the stock IM LED's, and only kept softies and maxi-mini's in it. I intended to start keeping some SPS in the IM pico about a year ago, so I got the Tide fixture without the controller from a fellow reefer here in NC. I sent the fixture back to Dave to upgrade to the Storm Controller, which he did, and it has never come out of the shipping box. I can get pics if you want them - I just have to finally open the box! This Tide was made pre-Dave offering the limes option. Asking $200 shipped. As I am "newbie" on this site, so-to-speak: If you have concerns over who I am, my reputation, etc.: I am on several NC boards under this same username; also on the international board for Red Sea Max owners under the same username (PM me if you want the actual sites - I don't want to violate any posting rules). Or you can also ask Dave, as he's met me in person when he was nice enough to do a custom install on my RSM250. Link to comment
