RC1313
Hey everybody, I've been battling cyano for about two months now, I've upped water changes, skimming, decreased lighting, increased filtration, the works really. It has made some difference but not enough to make me happy. So I decided to purchase some chemiclean to see how it works. I also bought Microbacter7. I'm looking for advice on how soon after treating with chemiclean should I add the Microbacter. Comments are appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
RC1313
Anybody? I might just go with 24 hours and a water change along with it. Link to comment
HarryPotter
Do you not have the instructions? I did the recommended dose, and repeated it once. Worked wonders on Cyano. Link to comment
RC1313
I just received it in the mail and now I see that it's pretty self explanatory thanks for the reply. Link to comment
basser1
If you're using carbon or chemi-clean, remove them. Also, turn off your skimmer as well. After the treatment make sure you do a water change. Link to comment

Hee hee in the instructions! That Chemi-Clean is good stuff. After you take preventative measures (as you've done) it's a great tool Link to comment

RC1313
Just wanted to give an update in case anyone stumbles across this. The chemi-clean worked fantastically, after three days all cyano was gone. I completed a water change and added microbacter7 and everything seems to be going well! Link to comment
