Nanoreefjoe
So i will be mixing the saltwater in my 29 Biocube for my first initial fill up of the tank the rock will be inside the tank and I will add the sand after mixing. After the cycle I will do a water change to lower nitrates, would this be a good time to put all my filtration in the back chambers media.foam, skimmer etc? Thank you for the help Link to comment
GMay
No need for fiter media or lighting at this stage. You might want to use floss or other media to collect particulates from the water when you add sand. Link to comment

Balix
I rinsed my sand twice. Added 1/3 of it in then placed my rock and put the remaining 2/3. I slowly dripped the saltwater mix with some airline tubing from home depot. It was cloud free. Added my media about 2 days before I added my livestock but no wrong way of doing it. Link to comment
seabass
... would this be a good time to put all my filtration in the back chambers media.foam, skimmer etc? You might want to consider replacing the stock media with an inTank media basket. Link to comment
