teajay33
Just started up my tank again after 5-6 years. I am going to seed some of my old live rock with new stuff, keep down on the pests etc. well first batch of live rock has an aiptasia anemone on it. It's a smaller rock, so I can take it out of just break off the end the devil spawn is on.. Question is though.. Is it too late? It's been in there 24 hours or so. Link to comment
Mariaface
Even if it's too late, you'll want to be rid of it, right? I'd remove the one you can see. If you find tiny baby aiptasia, either seal them up in their holes with cyanoacrelate or take the rock out of the tank and burn them. Or get a peppermint shrimp; mine cleared the tank of the tiniest aiptasia overnight, then slowly got rid of the larger ones. Not all of them go for it, but the ones I've purchased in the past did. The only one I removed myself was easily three inches across when semi-extended. Link to comment
teajay33
I totally flamed it. I forgot I posted this, but great minds think alike it seems. Link to comment
