I basically told her we could keep an eye on the house with our phones. She thought it was an awesome supplement to our home security system. Then I told her I could make sure the tank was running fine and then she caught on to what I really wanted to use it for. Long story short, I do not have a DropCam. Link to comment

I'm not going to leave it like that, but it's cool to check out. I turned off the Panorama Pro (blue/white) and only have a 6w blue stunner and a 6w UV stunner running. Long story short, I do not have a DropCam. DOH! Do you have Nest? If so, DropCam is owned by Nest now (aka Google) and integrates with their systems. You can have it detect humans then turn on the A/C or the heat or whatever. I like the time lapse feature too. Here's 4 hours this morning compressed into a 30sec clip. Just wondering as I was looking to get one to also have a live feed on my tank, but it seems that drop cam hooked into apex will not be a live feed just snapshot only. Link to comment
