Clownfish2004
I was wondering if I could keep a squamosa in a 14 gallon BC under the JBJ uni-body led 54 watts. Link to comment
HarryPotter
Do you have a picture of the tank? How old is it, what are the parameters, and what else do you have in there? I don't thing the JBJ light is enough; clams need a LOT and very precise parameters as well. You will need to know your Ca, Mg, Kh, PH, etc. Link to comment
Clownfish2004
Well it is not finished cycling but I want to know.I would get him when my tank is 5-6 months old.I have a midnight and 6 line in QT right now and planing to get another clown and a small gobie. When I've had it setup before I had all the pramiters in check and I just got a protein skimmer. Link to comment

I would love a picture of your tank BTW, and hows the cycle going? Do you have a CUC yet? (Clean up crew) I have a happy Maxima Clam in my JBJ 28, but I have upgraded lighting. (Radion XR30w) And welcome to Nano-Reef! Link to comment

You should make sure to bring water for your LFS to test. They typically do it for free! Even a CUC has requirements, and (obviously) you don't want them to die from too much ammonia or nitrate. Stil want a pictureeeee Link to comment
Clownfish2004
Okay I'll get one right now. Link to comment

HarryPotter
Nice aquascape, but your water level looks REALLY low in this picture. Do you check the salinity and top off often? You can also get a Nano Osmulator- that tops off for you! How did your water test at the LFS? Is it time for a CUC? Link to comment
