Choosing a Coral

So I've had saltwater fish since in 3rd grade and I've loved it but have never owned any type of coral. I want a good beginner coral that adds a splash of color to the tank or is just easy to care for. If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful :) thanks!

Mushrooms, discosoma. What light you slingin?

I currently have 2 24 LED lights clipped on each side of the tank. Its a roofless and most of my LFSs said that was good. I did my research I'm actually going to choose mushrooms. There easy to care for and i have all the essentials. :haha:

Yumas, zoas/palys, green-polyped toadstool. . .

If you wanna try some LPS, you could try Euphyllias but I believe Trumpets/Candy Canes are the easiest out of the LPS. Mine has 2 heads, got stung by my GBTA to the point where it basically just a mouth and it came back all puffy weeks later.

There's also a bunch of colorful macro algae like Dragon's Breath or Red Grape.
