Draco
I am planning on using my 1 gal (could be 1.5 gal) tank as a pest tank.. corals that is least desirable. I want to try to make it beautiful. I am not planning on any livestock but crabs, snails and maybe a showpiece crab (pompom maybe?) or shrimp. No fish at all. While I am in the research phase of what all I would need.. I first need to figure out what are some of the least desirable stock. List what you find are "pest".. I wouldn't even mind aphasia's! List em. Then I can figure out what kind of light to get. Blturner4
I had a 2.5 majano tank for a very short period of time. It did alright but wasn't anything special. Try majano or yellow colony polyps. Maybe throw in some blue mushrooms to add some more color? Link to comment
jlangtree
That was EXACTLY the same idea I have been toying with for the last few weeks ha ha. Over the years I have found that under the right lighting "Pests" like Majano, Aiptasia (when large and dense) Red pest "Sponges" and the Yellow Polyp Palys as mentioned above look awesome!
