How should I go about filling the tank can I mix the salt directly in the tank for the initial first fill up?

How many fish should I keep I am thinking around 4?

For filtration I will be using chemi pure elite poly filter and two blocks of large filter foam and a protein skimmer.

How many pounds of rock and sand should I buy I'm thinking 20 pounds of rock and 20 pounds of sand let me know please thanks!

Wow wow a lot of questions!

Have you done any research or looked for the answers yourself? Most of those have already been answered in the past; just google them!

If you still have questions after trying google, then put em here for help :)

If there is nothing in the tank (no rock or sand), you could mix it in the tank. However, I'd still probably mix it in another container and pump it in.

Sounds about right (depending on what you choose). Maybe like a pair of ocellaris clownfish, a goby, and a firefish.

Look into an inTank media basket: http://shop.mediabaskets.com/BioCube-29_c16.htm

Stay away from biological media. If you are using the foam blocks as a mechanical filter, just keep them clean. InTank also sells floss for the media basket (it's used on top so it's easy to clean/replace).

20lbs of rock sounds fine. I usually suggest around an inch of sand (it's easier to keep clean and oxygenated). I'm not sure how many pounds makes up an inch in a BC29 (check some member tanks for some ideas).
