Ga912
I was cleaning my filter during weekly water change and found an orange shrimp in the bio filter pad. I left it in there. I will get a pic next water change if it's still there. Was wondering what species and if I should leave it in there or put it in the tank. Link to comment

Ga912
Just check filter no sign of shrimp. Just a couple of amphipods. Link to comment
Jellyingabout
problem gone then . . . until you wake up one morning to a few hundred of them in your tank with no coral or fish left. Do you feed live food? sometimes the odd brine shrimp can survive in the filter. Link to comment
Ga912
No just pellets and coral food nothing live. Link to comment
fishfreak0114
How big was it? It could have been a rather large amp hippos. I have some bright orange ones that are a cm long. Btw that is supposed to say amphipods, not amp hippos. (Dumb auto correct?) Link to comment
