Par 38 Over 20 Gallon Long

Ok so I have been running 4x24w T5HO over my 20 long for almost 3 months. I have been developing an interest towards PAR 38 leds.

 

Problem is I don't know much about fixtures. Will mostly any fixture take those bulbs and run them properly? Let's say this for example

Would something like that work with par 38 bulbs? How many bulbs would be recommended for a 20 long tank?

 

Also how far from the top of the tank would I need to keep it?

Thats a great looking fixture, should work fine, and 3 par 38's should be plenty for a 20 long.

One of my favorite tanks, kept some awesome corals with 3 par 38's. I almost did the same thing on my old 20 long but I wanted the sunrise sunset effect and it only cost a little more for the maxspect razor.

Yeah! It's cheap and looks decent so all I needed to know is if it could take the PAR38 bulbs. I'm wondering what the difference vs t5's that I would get.

Stick with the T5s and get better bulbs. Cheaper than buying Par38s and look way better IME.

Yeah I'm already running 4x24w ATI bulbs 2 blue+, 1 purple+ and actinic. I like the look but right now I have an issue with my HOB skimmer. The fixture is too low and won't center properly with the skimmer tube keeping the fixtures to far forward. It needs to be higher but I just don't know how I would go about it. I have two 2bulb fixtures. Aquatic life Marine marquis. Any help would be great.
