cc reefer
Hi everyone. I'm starting a ADA 60f shallow reef and I have everything decided on except for the type of sand to use. I will be having a moderate flow in the tank and would love some suggestion on sand type. I would like to go as fine and white as possible without my mp 10 blowing it around. Thanks for the help Link to comment

D Z
Look into tropic eden reef flakes from premium aquatics. This is a good choice but I would also recommend checking out Caribsea Seaflor special grade. I have it in my 34 with moderate to heavy flow and have been very happy with both the aesthetic look and the fact that it does not get blown around much at all. It is also a good combo of grain sizes. This is where I bought mine. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=7326 Link to comment
cc reefer
Reef flakes looks like perfect stuff. I just wish they sold it in smaller quantities. I only need a it 10lbs. Link to comment

Bill Nye
I've never seen tropic eden in person but I have special grade and I love it. I have a 50 gallon breeder with two mp10s at 100% reef crest and it doesn't move. Link to comment

seabass
I would like to go as fine and white as possible without my mp 10 blowing it around. CaribSea Fiji Pink is more fine than Special Grade or Reef Flakes. It might blow around a little at first, but should settle down once a biofilm is established on it. Unlike its name, it's not pink.
