Thanks Guys,

Great customer service and I just got my sump yesterday.

I thought the RS Series came with the float switch mounts but I guess it actually doesn't. Still a great sump!

I recalled the same thing, so I looked into it. They DID come with mounts, you're not crazy. It's actually sort of a touchy subject, as I learned when investigating... EA responded to massive customer feedback regarding those mounts - many folks complained they were just in the way. So, EA removed them from all the outgoing product, and had all vendors update their marketing materials to reflect the change - regardless of how you feel about the change, you gotta admit that's great customer service, and fast response to user demand. Unfortunately, as someone wanting a mount, you ordered from the first batch after the changeover.

If you'd like a mount, and you're comfortable working with acrylic, we'll see about having a mount sent to you - and you can place it wherever you choose, so it's not in your way for other tasks. (Or, if you're not that comfortable, you could just mount it to a nice magnet for a move-able mount - I can give you directions for several types of mounting solution.)

PM me and we can arrange it!

Im thinking about purchasing the SA-24 for my new build. Is there any way I could also get the float switch mounts? To me, the mounts are are highly necessary due to my lack of hand-eye coordination for drilling!

Thanks,

Harry

Harry,

You won't be disappointed with this sump. I have the RS-32 but let me know if you want other pictures or anything that isn't shown on EA and PA websites.

That would be awesome! Just of how you have it running and where the probe holders/switch holders go :-)

I literally just got it on wednesday. hahaha. Its currently sitting at the side of my tank. Going to installed it this weekend or earlier next week.

The probe holder is in the skimmer section mounted to the filter sock wall. There are dosing lines on the other side.
