Tiny white things moving on my glass?

Good morning,

I've got the ich thread as well on this site. I've cleared the tank of fish, done a couple of 50% water changes and added a UV sterilizer. All of my levels are good and my inverts are doing great. The water looks crystal clear.

And THESE show up?? Any ideas? They seem smaller then a grain of salt and are moving. I thought it may be the ich in its swimming state, but am reading on the web that they can only be seen while attached to the fish?

Here's a couple pics, many thanks!!

Is it possible to have too many copepods? My glass on all 4 sides are covered in these things.

I don't think so

You'll notice the population boom and slow down from time to time. I usually get a huge bloom when I have some algae growth. Good addition to any tank! I don't think you can have too many either...especially not copepods.

Ditto.

Pod populations explode then settle down with food availability.

The chemo pure elite bag in my bio wheel filter makes my wheel stop turning sometimes, I worked all day Wednesday then had school. I get home from work yesterday and it was the exact scene on Finding Nemo when nemo clogs the wheel lol. Had a million of these copepods on my glass and all kinds of green algae on my rocks.

Hey, at least you didn't come home to a lack of a tiny clownfish with a bent fin, then find him in the filtration chambers a day later... I think I need to rename my clown.

My son who is now six, watched that movie about as many times as copepods are in our tanks! I think I can quote about every line from that film!

Have a great weekend everyone!
