waveland
Good morning, I've got the ich thread as well on this site. I've cleared the tank of fish, done a couple of 50% water changes and added a UV sterilizer. All of my levels are good and my inverts are doing great. The water looks crystal clear. And THESE show up?? Any ideas? They seem smaller then a grain of salt and are moving. I thought it may be the ich in its swimming state, but am reading on the web that they can only be seen while attached to the fish? Here's a couple pics, many thanks!! Link to comment

ml86743
You'll notice the population boom and slow down from time to time. I usually get a huge bloom when I have some algae growth. Good addition to any tank! I don't think you can have too many either...especially not copepods. Link to comment

patriot
The chemo pure elite bag in my bio wheel filter makes my wheel stop turning sometimes, I worked all day Wednesday then had school. I get home from work yesterday and it was the exact scene on Finding Nemo when nemo clogs the wheel lol. Had a million of these copepods on my glass and all kinds of green algae on my rocks. Hey, at least you didn't come home to a lack of a tiny clownfish with a bent fin, then find him in the filtration chambers a day later... I think I need to rename my clown. Link to comment
waveland
My son who is now six, watched that movie about as many times as copepods are in our tanks! I think I can quote about every line from that film! Have a great weekend everyone! Link to comment
