ManGups
I was looking to get a quarantine tank and just got a Ehiem Aquastyle 6 Gallon with a stand. I don't intend to run this tank as a 2nd tank but only for quarantine. However, for a future 2nd tank (or only tank) I would like to have enough light for growing SPS. Tank: http://www.f3images.com/IMD/UserManuals/EH6400371.pdf I am looking to keep this in budget and of less than 200 (ideally around 150) and I have 2 lights come to my mind. 1) nanbox mini but it seems an overkill and almost twice what I want to spend. the 2nd is : 2) Aqua mini MicMol : http://www.micmol.com/aquamini.html Any suggestions if the Micmol is good enough and have any other suggestions (looking for a clip on type or tank mounted) Link to comment
Partially Submerged
Have you looked into the AI Prime? There is a huge discussion thread (only the last couple pages are post-release). Not sure if 12x12 is a bit small for the light, but it would fit in your budget and has a wifi controller built-in. I like the Eheim (not Ehiem, by the way) a lot. Always meant to grab one for a FW tank. Link to comment
Halo_003
What about a Nanobox Eco? Pretty sure Dave is still selling them. Link to comment
ManGups
What about a Nanobox Eco? Pretty sure Dave is still selling them. Eco is out July 15th? also at ~199USD with only manual control, it would not justify buying it as compared to the AL Prime. Link to comment
Horerczy
ECO has been out for a while. Not hard to mod for control if you know what you're doing but I'm going to guess you are unwilling/unable to do so since you're looking for a plug and play light. Link to comment

Its seems you are suggesting I spend 200 bucks on a light and then spend time, energy, money modifying the light as compared to getting a light for 200 USD which already does. And why would you use the word 'unable'? what makes you think if anyone is 'unable' to modify a light? Link to comment
Hexadron
I would suggest the AI Prime if you are looking for controllability and ease, or if you are okay without controllability, but want a good light, look for sales on Kessil A150. In Canada I have seen them for $200 or less new - so in the US it should be even cheaper. Link to comment
