gjn201
Hi all, Graham from Oz., New to Nano Reefs, but not to fishkeeping. I'm in the process of setting up a 16 Gallon (64lt to me!) tank, hopefully using natural filtration and some filter wool. Question is, how much wool? As I'm not using the filter area for anything else (in theory) space isn't a problem. Tank is an 'Ocean free #4' with three chambers about 8x3x3" each. Thanks all. G. Link to comment
FlowerMama
I just use a small piece in my Evolve8, you don't want it so full that it stops the water flow, but enough to catch. Just an inch worth. Link to comment
gjn201
Thanks for the reply, That small? wow. I was expecting something along the lines of a fist sized lump, but that's good to know, something in this hobby that will be cheap! G. Link to comment
FlowerMama
Change it out every 4 days or so, when it's dirty. Link to comment
