Nanocube modification Question with Reactor

So I am wanting to run a BRS GFO/carbon reactor and have a couple of thoughts on where to put my MJ1200 pump and wanted some input on my JBJ nano cube. Right now I am running the media tray from top to bottom filter floss/carbon in a bag/purigen. I just think forcing water across a reactor will do more benefit that having it trickle across the media tray

1) take out the media tray and place the pump in that slot with return hoses pumping back into each return chamber baskets. Basically I just dont get to use filter floss anymore, although I have thought about modifying that flimsy tray to hold the floss and placing it above the pump

2) instead of two return pumps back the the display area (right now using a wavemaker) I could put the reactor pump in one of those slots and now only have one side running all the time. This option loses a bit of flow to the system

3) my least favorite option, placing the reactor pump into the display area (this would add an ugly, unnatural hose and pump to the tank

Thoughts???

Which NC do you have?

I like the thought of keeping the floss (it'll act as a prefilter for your reactor). Is there room for a reactor pump in the same chamber as the return pump?

I have the JBJ intermediate LED tank. I ended up cutting the 3 chamber filter into just one piece to run the filter floss and have the MP under that. However, I have toyed with the idea of running the filter floss in the actual BRS reactor prior to the foam pad and before the carbon/gfo.

The return pump chamber doesnt really have enough room for 2 pumps
