Hitchhiker - bristleworm?

Hi, recently (been up for about a month) started a 10 gallon reef with mostly dead rock from bulk reef supply and one small piece of live rock. Last night I was heading to bed and decided to look in the tank and I noticed a worm on the live rock. I looked closer and I think I saw 3 total in various holes in the rock. From various google searches, I came to the conclusion that it is a bristleworm, just hoping someone can confirm that for me. Sorry about the picture, I had to take it with the lights out or the worm retreated back into his little hole.

looks like it could be a bristleworm.

They can be beneficial part of a clean up crew, but populations can get outa control if you over feed your tank. I had an population BOOM in about two weeks, got an arrow crab and that guy has taken care of the over population.

I got rid of the worms simply because I don't think they look appealing in my tank, not because they were causing any sort of problem.

Looks like a bristleworm. They are great for eating detritus and leftover food. I only see mine at night or right after I feed for a minute. This being so I have not bothered to remove them. I feel they make an excellent addition to a tank's CUC.

dude slow down with the feeding lol

I like bristle worms, they are kinda cute and sometimes will eat from tweezers lol. Also pretty cool to watch as they eat.

Yea, I didn't realize how much I was feeding. I still have some bristle worms left, probably see about 5-6 when feeding. I counted about 30 that I could see one time, and that's means there's probably way more that I couldn't see.
