And my current tank is too deep for what I'm trying to do. So I'm transferring everything to this 40b.I'm also doing this simplified. I want to try the no sump method. I hate the dirt that build at the bottom of a sump. And the extra evap that comes with the return pump. Plus the salt creep inside the stand is getting harder to clean lol idk i just have to try it. If in the case i hate it, i have another 40b i can drill and sump it Link to comment

I'm replacing my 50 cube with my 15 zen but I'm going to drill it since I already have the sump and stand. I might eventually go back to an aio that fits the standYeah man. I thought of going aio but cannot afford them atm. And diy is just too much for me. Sumps are cool, don't get me wrong. But i need to try sumpless first and see how i like it. In other news. It doesn't affect the filter. Nor will it leak. Nothing a bit of silicone will fix I'm turning one as a fuge as we speak. Link to comment

But i figured evap would be a lot less than it is right now since there would be no huge pumps. I'm still yet to see a difference. If i don't like the hob. Ill go back to sump. Link to comment

I'm going to try them out tomorrow when the silicone cures. I've seen the aio kits. I just didn't think of them while making this build lol And omg!!!! that shirt is dope!
