Torch help

So I got two torches from salt critters and for about two weeks they were doing fine. Then they both went down hill. Alk is around 10, ca is 410, and Mg is at 1400. The first torch is at the top of my rockscape and about 4" from the Current Orbit Marine. The other torch is about 6-7" from the light. Originally I had both the whites and blues at 100% but I've since turned them down to 70%. The upper coral has two heads and one has completely died leaving just the skeleton while the other head is doing just fine. The lower coral started off with just one side dying but now the whole thing has receded back and the tentacles are barely out. It definitely looks like the lower torch is going to completely die off unfortunately. When I got the corals, I dipped them in Seachem's Coral dip. The other corals have all been doing well except for one but I think that is a separate issue. I accidentally cracked the skeleton of a platygyra and one of the edge sections has died off but the rest is doing fine. Any ideas as to what I did wrong?

Assuming it isn't suffering from brown jelly disease, how's the flow where they are? Have you tried performing a water change & running carbon? Do you have any other Euphyllia in there?

I'm running carbon and gfo in a BRS dual reactor. I have a small torch that is near the upper one (4-5" away) but the lower torch doesn't have anything near it that would sting it.

Is this brown jelly disease? If so, what would be the next step? I can pull it and give it a 10 minute iodine dip. Below is what it looked like originally. Still waiting on Flickr to upload the picture of the other torch... The other one doesn't appear to have as much if any brown inside of it. Tough to see that deep into the skeleton since it starts getting darker.

So the lower one is officially done. The top one does have brown jelly I think. Tomorrow I'm going to do another iodine dip. I sucked out a bunch of brown gunk and holy shit does this stuff smell awful!! The bottom coral was falling apart and the tentacles were falling off from all over and unfortunately I ended up just tossing it. The bottom one didn't have as much brown stuff which was strange. I got a hefty chunk from the top one. Tomorrow morning I'm going to try and suck up as much brown jelly from the remaining torch and tomorrow is also water change day so hopefully that will help.

Well, not really sure how the second torch will fair. I did my water change and I chopped off the other head. They were pretty tight so I just hope I didn't damage the other head too much. Got as much brown gunk out as I could but I'll just have to wait and see.

I've got good news!! The head is surviving. Tentacles are extended and doing well. I thought I had taken a bit too much off of it when I cut off the other head but so far so good. Do you guys think more light would help at all? I have a new frag rack sitting in my sump where I put my chalice and a couple zoa plugs that are still on plugs and not attached. 36 watt bulb with 60 degree lenses sitting about a foot and a half above the rack should be plenty of light. I'm actually worried that it might be a bit too much. Will just have to wait and see how they do. But back to the torch, I can put the torch down there where there is more light if you guys think it will help.
