evilc66 Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Gauge doesn't matter. The type you want is either 60/40 (more commonly found in retail stores), or 63/37 rosin core. Avoid lead free or silver solder like the plague. It's not worth the effort compared to lead solder. Link to comment
