Decided I wanted a reef tank about 4 years ago so i joined this site and have been reading all i could ever since. Me and my wife just bought a new house and decided it was the perfect time to pull the trigger on a new tank. Specs: Tank: Innovative Marine Fusion 10 Filtration: InTank Media Basket Lighting: Aquaillumination Prime ATO: Hydor Smart Level Control with TOM aqua lifter pump Heater: Cobalt Aquatics Neo-Therm 50-Watt Flow: Jebao RW-4 Wavemaker with Controller Substrate: Caribsea Arag-Alive Livestock: Keeping it pretty simple, my plans are mostly LPS and softies and a snowflake clown. Filled it up last night for a leak test. Ill be stopping by my LFS tonight for some live rock. I'm lucky enough to have a really great LFS a few blocks from my work http://aquaticacorals.com/ I know a lot of people are really interested in how the AI Prime is so I'll give my initial impression. Well it didn't have a great start, the mounting arm was missing two screws in the packaging. Luckily i have just about every size metric bolt in my garage. After that its nothing but good news. I'm really impressed. Synced up to my Iphone super fast and easy. The app is great (storm mode is super cool!) and the output is very impressive. Link to comment

Excellent question. I know that no lights are needed for the cycle. It only helps create algae. Link to comment

Supermoto Posted April 10, 2015 Author Share Posted April 10, 2015 did a test today when i got home. Ammonia: 0 Nitrites: 0 Nitrates: 0.1 PH: 8 Salinity: 1.026 Live rock seems to be working great. I added ammonia last night to seed and test it. Link to comment

It was too strong so I got a variable voltage power supply and dropped the voltage to 12v. Now I couldn't be happier. Link to comment
