I have received feedback that having users post their downloadable settings would be beneficial, in which I do believe would have a positive benefit, as well others would like to see photos in which is understandable as well. I added them both as optional, so when putting up your settings feel free to snap a picture and upload your settings with your thread :)

It seems to work same as a Radion and you can download the setting as a *.aip file. I guess that makes it easy to share setting.

Here's what I'm running. I've been manually ramping it up via the cloud starting at 10 am then ramp down around 7. Lights fully off around 8:30. Stock 15k setting then I bump up the white from 24 to 28 and the red from 24 down to 12 during peak daylight

- Lunar/Weather: Yes/No

Initial Settings: Current settings I have now.

Weekly Ramping: 0%

Height Above Water: 8" above water.

Tank Type:

- Size: Nuvo 16 Gallon
- Brand: Innovative Marine

Additional Comments: Currently running one Prime in the middle with two Par38's on each side. The par38 seem to output more light and my corals are already acclimated to that, hency why I've set the Prime so high right off the start. No corals are in the middle of the tank either.

How Long Installed: About a week

Current Settings: Custom

- Colors: 20k,14k,10k,9.5k

- Times: 7:00 uv,db,v,red 8:00 sunrise 6:00 sunset

- Lunar: 9:00pm - 2:00am 5% for v,uv,db,b 1% for red,green,cw

- Weather: Yes 12:00pm - 1:00pm low settings 5% / 10%

Initial Settings: none

Weekly Ramping: none

Height Above Water: Around 8"

Tank Type: 40B

Additional Comments: I have 2 AI's over my tank I also spent some time doing research with the settings as far as sunrise and sunset kelvin's. I think I found a happy median for my Corals/Fish and myself only time will tell. The lunar settings are a slight mystery since there is no real way to test it other than letting it run for a full month. Weather is a nice feature I set it low only because it doesn't rain everyday nor is it always cloudy plus we are trying to recreate nature and who doesn't like a break from the sun every now and then.

How Long Installed: about 10 days

Current Settings:

- Colors

  • Day: everything 50%
  • Night: Red: 3, UV: 4, Deep Blue: 3, Violet: 3, Cool White: 2, Green: 1, Blue: 3

- Times: 7:00 am / 5:00 pm, 3 hour ramp time

- Lunar/Weather: Yes / Yes, 5pm-9pm 25% probability, 50% intensity

Initial Settings: Day: everything 60%, night everything 5%

Weekly Ramping: None

Height Above Water: Lens 12" above tank, 9/5" above hang-on-refugium

Tank Type:

- Size: 16 gal bow front with rim
- Brand: All Glass / Aquion

Additional Comments: Corals very open & look amazing. Switched from 70w Metal Halide to to AI Prime. First time using LED/programable/adjustable light. Thanks for all your posts or I would have my Prime too bright. Have been dialing down the light from 60% to 50% gradually over several days looking for an intensity that has the corals looking great but does not risk burning them. Wish there was a guidance chart.

I just purchased an AI Prime for my BioCube 29 by Coralife. Have a lot of questions...well maybe not a lot, but some.

first in dealing with the settings, I'm trying to find a good base setting mix because eventually I will have LPS corals in the tank, and would like to have a good lighting schedule and intensity.

i've browsed the posts above, and I see many don't have the settings over 50%. I've also seen where people click on a "target icon" (for lack of a better term) to get to say 16k, but the iOS app does not have that particular icon...I guess android does.

Is anyone running a really good/solid light schedule with good intensity? If so, is there any recommendations?

Also, Lunar mode confuses the hell out of me. I had it set to be in Lunar Mode from 11am to 2am, with the lights off from 2am to 8 am, when they start ramping up. I come downstairs at 6:30 am to get a drink, and the lights are still on, so clearly I don't have something set up right, even though I had the little balls at 0% for each color from 2am to 8am.

Your lunar mode is incorrect. You want 11pm to 2am. Not gonna lie, I made that same mistake too. Lunar mode follows the lunar phases of the moon. If it's a full moon, it will be on your max percentage of the value you set. If your blues are at 5% during lunar mode, they will shift between 5% and 0% in accordance with the moon phases.

I had my lunar mode set 11pm to 2am, you are saying it's incorrect, and that I want 11pm to 2am....unless that's a typo, that's what I have :)
