loyalhero90
Does anyone else's stargrass do this? This happens often when a root system hits the side of the tank. It literally grows out of the soil and roots and all are dangling but the leaves grass looks so healthy that most of the time I just leave it alone and let the root system find new soil. It grows equally as fast as it does in soil. It is stubborn too. I have tried to anchor back into the soil but it usually finds a way to move from up under the anchoring and go back to it's original location. Star grass is a strange grass. My shoal grass has never done that but then again the shoal grass grows much slower. Link to comment
vlangel
That's a cool grass that I am not familiar with. Did you collect it yourself or buy it? Link to comment
hypostatic
Yah, when I had mine growing it would pretty much do this as well. Link to comment

I bought it from Floridapets: there is a good link in a post called Johnson's seagrass in this section. It is very hardy and in the right conditions can grow in locations that I just didn't expect it to grow like shaded areas. Link to comment

Thanks for the info! Link to comment
