Chubb's aqueon evolve 4 reef tank (Dealing with the heat)

Hello, so after lurking for awhile now I thought I would share my tank with you. First off I would like to say that this is one the best forums online. Great people and tons of good information, thanks. This is my first reef tank and I got the motivation to start one after seeing an Evolve 2 with some corals and sexy shrimp at a lfs. I have fresh water tanks and had an extra Evolve 4 still in the box that I got on clearance. So my search online to figure out what I needed brought me to here. After some research I decided on a plan to keep easy corals and a Yasha goby / pistol shrimp pair. Here's my tank.

Thanks. The stand is an Eheim Aquastyle 4 stand. Fits the stand perfectly but the top is slippery for the acrylic feet. So I used plasti dip to give it grip and protect it.

Here is a short video of my Yasha goby and Randall's pistol shrimp pair. These guys are awesome and I'm glad I got them.

Here's a small update to my tank. I added a scarlet hermit crab and a few corals. Got a nice duncan and some more zoas and palys.

Seems to be doing good. All my corals are growing and I'm not dosing them. Most of them started small with one or few heads and now they have multiple heads. None of them are reaching either.

Wanted to share how I've been dealing with the heat this summer on my tank. It got really hot here early this summer and my tank got up to 82 degrees. I was going to take a few long weekends away over the summer and wanted to make sure the tank stayed at a stable temperature. So I bought this fan and I have it being controlled by my reefkeeper lite set for 80 degrees. Once I got the fan I tested it by having it blowing on the back chamber and with the lid on the tank. Did it this way because I wanted to have the lid on while I was away. To my surprise it worked in this small space. The fan has worked great and the temp hasn't gone over 80. It was 90 outside here today and that made me think about and appreciate my fan.
