Infinitereef Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Hey fellow reefers I have had my mind set on gettinf a bigger tank. So today I picked up a Fluval M60 24G AIO. I currently have a Nuvo8 thats doing really well. I have been waiting for this time for a long time. This is how the Nuvo8 looks like as of today. Had a great time hooking everything up. Just have to get a few more things before I get it cycled. Here is what I got with the bundle price I paid. This little guy was more excited than me. :-) Heres the stand I had to assemble. This it was it looks like so far until I get the rest of my equipment. Things I still need before I start the cycle. -Protein skimmer -Media basket -Power head Link to comment

Cant wait to see yours going, Yeah. I was running errands and of course i had to stop by the lfs to see what was up. I knew i was going to be getting something bigger than my nuvo8 and i came accross this bundle package and i sat there and debated for a good hour before i decided. Orignally i was going to go with the jbj 30g but then i wouldve needed a stand,lights etc. i just couldnt pass it up when i saw it on their floor on display. Link to comment

Markburns43 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 That's the only thing with there filtration the flow through the baffles should be forcing waterdown then up then back down into return, I myself scraped the whole rear sump due to wanting a bottom sump, you could easly as it seems you made and installed your own baffle you could mod the other existing baffles and turn them around. Or it seems how you have it noe the middle larger chamber could house some macro? Link to comment

The middle chamber is going to be for the skimmer. I wasnt planning on doing alot of modifications but this mod should be able to do the job. Link to comment

The fluval light I got with the kit and pretty much all the accesorys I traded back for credit if I was to do it again I would have just done what you did I ended up spending more, when in reality I found out I just wanted the tank, I won't even be utilizing the stand=( so your off to a great build. Yess. Since i just purchased a home last year its going to be pretty permanant. This hobbie is getting way to expensive. Ive spent alot on this whole setup.
