Congratulations, I saw that you were a popular consideration this month and I am excited for you that your tank was chosen!

Woot woot :happydance:. So deserving...such an amazing reef!!!!! I didn't realize you did daily water changes. Has me

thinking about doing that with my 8g tank :).

Yay! It's about time

Seriously, though, the way you are running your tank gives us all a lot to think about. Daily water changes, heavy feeding, no skimming...and amazing growth in all your SPS. Way to go!

Thanks everyone! Ya , the last 3-4 months I've gone to smaller daily water changes - really easy takes only a few minutes. I wasn't liking how my corals were acting after I would do a 5 gal. w/c at the end of the week. It would take them a day to get back to normal and the tank was in suspension for a few hrs. With the small daily w/c the corals don't seem to notice and everything seems to be handling them better. Having a mixing station( 14gal.) Is really helpful with this method

How much is small? 1 gallon a day?

Yes- one gal. I can empty out 1/2 gal before my back filter gets to low and my pump sucks air so I stage it in 1/2 gal. Let it run for 15-20 min. to mix in and then do another 1/2 gal.
