Very small anemone and clownfish

So I have a pretty small RBTA and just recently picked up a gold band clownfish. The anemone is in no way sizeable enough to host the fish. Well tonight the clownfish finally realized that the anemone was there and has spent the last 4 hours after lights out rubbing at it. I'm a little concerned since its kept it up so long and that the anemone seems to be hanging on looser. My guess is the clown is doing a pretty good job of pissing it off right now.

Any thoughts as to whether I should let it be for now or try to do something?

Edit: Still going at it this morning. I can't say with certainty but it seems as if its been going at it all night.

The anemone should be fine but if you are worried you could cover it with a plastic screen or egg crate.

Edit: How much smaller exactly is the nem? Can you post pics?

Based on previous posts that I have seen... the anemone would be smothered to death.

My clown smothered my first anemone. I read you can take a soda bottle, cut off the bottom, drill holes in the bottom and put that over the nem.

The nem is a little bigger than a quarter but smaller than a 50 cent piece. After the first couple days the nem seems to be looking better. My minor concern now is whether or not the clown is going to hang out in there so much that it blocks light. The fish almost covers the entire nem so if it spends a lot of time in there I could definitely see it shading the nem to death.
